Meandering
Like a reflection of the window on my glasses
What is real, what is shadows, what is truth
The infinitesimal virus invaded my cells
Colonizing my tissues, affecting my brain
My new lenses portray the world as overwhelming
Low energy, people are all too irky
Human’s flaws, psychological weaknesses
Yes, I know, you act upon insecurities
Yes, I see, you’re trying your best
But I can’t take it, I want to retreat
In my cave
In my bed
Under my blanket
Let’s the world forget I exist
The wind will erase any trace of my existence from the sand
The rain will wash the slate clean
The sun will bleach any print I left
The essence of my being will evaporate into mist
I may remain a whisper in your ears
You may wonder about a sense of forgetfulness
And you will shake it off, continuing your business.
